What is the Day & Night Ritual Set?
The Day & Night Ritual Set is a subscription that delivers two personalised Japanese tea blends each month: a Day Blend for focused daytime energy and a caffeine-free Sleep Blend for evening wind-down. Both are built from your tea quiz answers and re-personalised whenever you update them. Hand-blended in small batches on the Gold Coast, Australia.
How does the personalisation work for both blends?
You take a single 2-minute quiz covering both your daytime energy needs and your evening sleep pattern. Loulou uses your answers to build two complementary blends from a library of organic Japanese teas, supporting botanicals and functional mushrooms. Each blend comes with a formula card so you know what is in your tea and why.
Will the Day Blend keep me awake at night?
Not if you stop drinking it by mid-afternoon. Day Blends contain between 25 and 50 mg of caffeine per cup, so most people drink their last Day cup before 3pm. If you are very sensitive to caffeine, your quiz answers will steer your Day Blend toward lower-caffeine options.
Will the Sleep Blend make me drowsy during the day?
No. Sleep Blends use gentle traditional botanicals to support a calm wind-down, not sedation. They are designed for evenings only. The set is built so the Day Blend covers your awake hours and the Sleep Blend covers your wind-down hours.
Are both blends certified organic?
Yes. Every ingredient in both your Day and Sleep blends is certified organic. Japanese tea bases come directly from Japan, supporting botanicals come from a trusted local Australian supplier, and Loulou hand-blends every pouch in small batches on the Gold Coast, Australia.
How often will I receive new pouches?
The Ritual Set ships monthly by default. Each 75g pouch holds about 35 cups, so a month comfortably covers one Day cup and one Sleep cup per day. You can switch to every six weeks or every two months in your account if you drink less.
Can I pause, skip or change my blends?
Yes. You can pause, skip a month or update your blend formulas any time from your account. Re-personalising is as simple as retaking the quiz, and your next shipment will reflect the new answers.
Is the subscription cheaper than buying individual blends?
Yes. Subscribers get a discount compared to one-off purchases of the Day and Sleep blends separately, plus free shipping in Australia and priority access to seasonal blend updates.
Can I add or remove specific ingredients in my blends?
Yes. The quiz includes an ingredient preference step where you can flag botanicals to avoid (for taste or allergy reasons) and ones you want to include. Loulou will also send a quick check-in email after your first shipment so you can refine the formula before the next pouch is blended.
