What does Yomogi Dream taste like?
Earthy and slightly herbal at first, with a soft sweetness from the reishi as the cup cools. The mugwort gives it a clean, grass-and-forest character that lingers gently.
Does it actually help with sleep?
Yomogi (Japanese mugwort) and reishi mushroom are both traditionally used to support a slower, deeper wind-down. The blend is caffeine-free, so it will not work against your body's natural rhythm. Most people report feeling settled within 30 to 60 minutes.
Is it safe during pregnancy?
We recommend you check with your midwife or GP before drinking mugwort during pregnancy. Yomogi is widely used in Japan but the herb has historical contraindications in early pregnancy that are worth confirming with a clinician for your situation.
How many cups does a pouch make?

What is reishi and why is it in here?
Reishi is a medicinal mushroom long used in Japanese and Chinese herbal traditions to support calm and resilience. We add it to Yomogi Dream because it pairs well with mugwort to encourage a deeper, more settled sleep without sedating you.
What is Yomogi Dream?
Yomogi Dream is a caffeine-free Japanese mugwort and reishi tea. The mugwort tea base comes directly from Japan, where yomogi has been used for centuries to support a slower wind-down. Is Yomogi the same as moxa, and does it contain thujone?
Yomogi is the Japanese name for mugwort (Artemisia princeps). Moxa is dried mugwort burned externally in moxibustion therapy, not consumed. Drinking mugwort tea is a different traditional practice. Mugwort does contain naturally occurring thujone in trace amounts, similar to sage and tarragon. The amount in a brewed cup is well below regulatory limits and Yomogi has been a daily drink in Japan for centuries. As with any herb, do not consume in extreme quantities, and check with a clinician if you are pregnant or on medication.
